From just £25/hr, you’ll get access to:

- Standard tools (spanners, sockets, etc.)
- Bright lighting and a chill garage vibe – brews and tunes included!

1. Assumption of Risk
By signing this agreement, I confirm that:
- I am using the vehicle lift at my own risk.
- East Coast Cars is not liable for any damage to my vehicle, personal injury, or third-party injury sustained while using the lift.
- The lift has a maximum weight limit of 3 tons (3,000 kg), and East Coast Cars staff will assess my vehicle before use.
- East Coast Cars staff will assist with positioning my vehicle on the lift and ensuring it is correctly secured before use.
- Once the vehicle is correctly positioned and secured, I take full responsibility for any work carried out.
- I understand that improper use of the lift can result in vehicle damage or injury.
- I have inspected the lift before use and confirm that I am satisfied with its condition.
2. Payment Details
Payment is required before use of the lift. Accepted payment methods:
- Cash on Arrival
- Bank Transfer to East Coast Cars

3. Vehicle Lift Usage Rules
- I will follow all safety procedures and staff instructions.
- I will not carry out welding, grinding, or excessive force repairs without prior approval.
- If I cause any damage to the lift, tools, or property, I accept responsibility and will cover repair costs.
- East Coast Cars is not responsible for any tools, parts, or personal belongings left on-site.
4. Vehicle Removal Responsibility
- I must ensure my vehicle is able to be removed from the lift at the end of my hire period.
- If my vehicle cannot be moved, a storage fee can be applied until it is removed.
- If a vehicle is left on-site for more than 7 days without contact, East Coast Cars reserves the right to arrange for removal at the owner’s expense.
5. Liability & Indemnity
- I fully release East Coast Cars from any legal claims related to injury, vehicle damage, or other incidents while using the lift.
- I understand that East Coast Cars does not provide insurance for personal injury or vehicle damage.
- I accept full responsibility for my vehicle and my actions while using the lift.
6. Staff Assistance & Emergency Reporting
- East Coast Cars staff will be present to assist with the correct positioning and securing of the vehicle on the lift before work begins.
- Once the vehicle is secured and I begin working, I accept full responsibility for any work carried out.
- Any equipment faults, lift malfunctions, or safety concerns must be reported immediately to staff.
- If I cause damage to the lift, I will notify staff before leaving.
7. Digital Agreement & Signature
- I acknowledge that this agreement will be stored electronically.
- I will receive a copy via email for my records.
8. Payment for Reserved Time Slot
I understand that when I book a vehicle lift, I am paying for a specific time slot, regardless of whether I use the full allotted time. For example, if I book the lift for 2 hours and only use 1 hours, I will still be charged for the full period. East Coast Cars cannot resell the ramp at short notice, and therefore, no partial refunds will be given for unused time.
I agree to pay the full amount for the time I have reserved, even if I do not fully utilise it.
By signing on arrival, I confirm that I have read and agree to the terms above.
